Support Center Associates Help Pack Nearly 19,000 Meals for Children

A team of more than 20 associates from the LifeCare Support Center recently gave their hearts, with their hands by volunteering together for the nonprofit organization Feed My Starving Children. In total, they helped pack more than 80 boxes with nearly 19,000 meals for underprivileged children in Nicaragua. The nutritious meals will help feed more than 50 children for the next year.

“Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children was a fantastic experience,” said Alison Barnes, Digital Designer at LifeCare and one of the volunteers. “It felt really good to help others far less fortunate than us. It was eye opening to know that in the time we volunteered, we helped feed so many children who would otherwise go hungry. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.”
