MCN Policy Manager is a robust Policy and Procedure software system, which will house our LifeCare LTACH Hospitals, BHH, TCC, Home Health, and Support Center policies, and replace our current policy repository on ICARE. We are targeting to go live with the new system Dec. 3.
MCN Policy Manager offers many features, including:
- MCN Policy Manager Software: Offers easy access to the policies and procedures from our LMS portal link, LifeCare Standard Links, or any internet capable device. Use of keyword searches will allow you to easily find the policy you are looking for. Users will only have access to policies and procedures that apply to their facility which will make it easier to find and use the correct policy.
- Policy Manager: Will streamline the policy management activities that ensure our accreditation compliance. It will simplify and automate our policy review and approval processes throughout our facilities.
- Policy Library: Offers approximately 18,000 customizable policies, procedures and form templates that are able to be downloaded and implemented into our organization.
- Stay Alert: MCN monitors Joint Commission, CMS, CDC, HIPAA and FDA published regulatory changes and notifies us with a summary of the changes and best practice guidelines for implementing changes within our organization.
User training will be conducted via multiple WebEx sessions, and we are targeting the week of Nov. 26 to conduct the trainings. Sessions will last 30 minutes or less and you will only need to attend one of the scheduled sessions. Stay tuned to your email for more details on the training sessions.
