Associate recognition at LifeCare got a “face” lift.
Earlier this month, we launched a new national associate recognition program, called Faces of LifeCare.
The recognition program is designed as an extension of our LifeCare Movement to help recognize outstanding associates who exemplify our five core values: OWN IT, RESPECT IT, PERSONALIZE IT, BLUR IT and CREATE IT.
Any associate can nominate a peer via The Pulse now through the end of the year. Each facility will have the opportunity to submit a nominee to represent each value (total of five nominations per facility) to the National Review Team for consideration. The final five winners will receive a $2,000 award, as well as a trip to LifeCare’s headquarters in Plano, Texas to attend the Leadership Conference in the spring!
Here’s how it works:
All associates are eligible to participate. Anyone can nominate a co-worker via The Pulse. The form will ask for a complete description of how the nominee demonstrates one of LifeCare’s five values. Nominations are accepted anytime, but all hospitals and agencies are asked to nominate one outstanding associate at the end of the year for each value for consideration in the national awards. These nominations will be submitted to a national committee who will review and recommend the top candidates for each value. Executive leadership will select the top associate for each value to receive the Faces of LifeCare recognition. The final Faces of LifeCare winners will be announced via The Pulse in Q1 of the following year.
