Earlier this year we formally launched The LifeCare Movement. Bringing our new mission, vision and values to life requires us to Blur it and work together as we continue on this journey of transformation across the organization.
As part of this transformation, we have evaluated the leadership capabilities that will be required to help us drive The LifeCare Movement and our strategy. This evaluation has resulted in changes to our expectations of leaders and the rollout of our new leadership competencies.
These 14 competencies will help us better measure what our leaders do in their role and how they do it. You will start to see them consistently as they will be incorporated into our job descriptions, talent profiles, hiring process and this year’s performance review process for directors and above.
The leadership competencies are not intended to be an exhaustive list of what is required. They will help to provide us with consistent language and definitions as we continually think about what is important at LifeCare.
We are raising the bar on our expectations of leaders. It’s the responsibility of these individuals to support our culture, modeling our values and engage/empower our most important asset – our people.
