Bringing the movement to life

As introduced in the last edition of The Pulse, we are officially rolling out The LifeCare Movement at each location across the organization. All associates are encouraged to attend their location’s experience, which will include an introduction to our new mission, vision, values and strategy; open dialogue with your leadership, a message from CEO Jim Murray and President & COO Frank Battafarano, and more.

“At the core of this movement and everything we do is you, our associates. Your passion and commitment to delivering compassionate care experiences is our most important asset as a company,” says Murray. “Each member of the LifeCare team is critical to helping this movement come alive.”

To kick things off, Complete Home Health hosted their experiences at our Palm Beach and Broward locations last week. “I can’t think of a better way to kick off The LifeCare Movement than with Complete, a member of our home health family. A key focus of our strategy is to diversify our business and grow our home health platform,” says Battafarano, who attended the experience along with SVP of Home Health Kristie Geist, Chief Clinical & Quality Officer of Home Health Bill Edwards, Home Health Regional CEO Chris Roller, HR Director of Home Health Susan Crosby, Home Health Finance Director Laura Zych, Director of Integration Greg Price and CEO Scott Dryer.

In addition to Complete, the following locations have also hosted their movement experience: LMS, Tahoe, Fort Worth, Wichita Falls and Lubbock. The remaining locations are scheduled between now and the beginning of February. For those unable to attend, a recording of the LMS experience will be made available via The Pulse.

“There’s no better time to be part of LifeCare. As an organization, we are focused on so many great initiatives, all of which are unattainable without the dedicated support of our associates,” says Murray. “Through this movement, we will successfully shift our mindset and the organization’s culture to ensure a bright future for LifeCare.
