A look to the future: The LifeCare Movement

Posted by

In the last year, LifeCare has undergone a great deal of change. In 2017, we acquired a home health agency, continued to diversify our platform with the introduction of new business initiatives and tightened our overall strategy.

In addition, we’ve also recognized the need to identify and enhance on who we are as an organization. We are excited to announce The LifeCare Movement, unveiled by the leadership team at the 2017 Leadership Conference held this week. The movement is supported by a new mission, vision and values as well as the tightened strategy.

“We are creating a true movement here at LifeCare,” says CEO Jim Murray. “We are a community of passionate people in the people business working to deliver world-class patient-centered care.”

Involving our Team

In June, LMS facilitated associate focus groups with representation from the facilities and support center, including leadership and frontline staff. Participants shared insight, ideas and constructive feedback around our values and standards. As a result, we are excited to roll out our new strategy, mission, vision and values.

To become the most respected clinical brand by creating compassionate care experiences every day.

Our Values

Our values encompass who we are as an organization and are a guide to how we operate with one another and the patients we care for – they reflect how we show up and what is important to us as a company.

  • Own It

“The fresh, new language is reflective of the input and feedback we received from all of you,” says Murray. “In everything we do, we need to Own It, Respect It, Personalize It, Blur It and Create It.”
